2004 Moto Guzzi Breva 750ie The Italian motorcycle Moto Guzzi was invented by two aircraft pilots and a mechanic who served in World War I together. Their names were Carlo Guzzi, Giovanni Ravelli and Giorgi Parodi.
They became close friends while serving their country and hatched a plan to start a motorcycle company. Their company later became the fourth largest in the world.
Carlo Guzzi was the engineer of the group and would design and build the motorcycles. Giorgi Pardi came from a wealthy family so he financed the venture. Giovanni Ravelli who was already a famous pilot and motorcycle racer would use his influence to sell and promote the bikes.
Unfortunately Giovanni Ravelli was killed in a plane crash right after the war and to commemorate him the others used an eagle's wing as the Moto Guzzi company logo. The company was first officially forged in 1921.
