When and How Will the World End FORD Ford Thunderbirds
1967 Ford Mustangs maverick
1969 1/2 Ford Maverick with the Grabber look
Photo used under Creative Commons from dave_7The Ford Maverick is a great model and was produced from 1970 to 1977. Now they are collector’s items and the grabber look makes a fun hot rod. The photo here shows one with the grabber appearance and it looks quite nice with its red color and black stripes. My guess is that it might be parked at a school with the high fence behind it and the nice grass.
The muscle car theme in the grabber style was made from 1970 to 1975. After that the car was change to the stallion model. This means it had a special paint trim and was used on the Ford Mustang II.
I don't like the looks of this new style as well so maybe that is why production was stopped in 1977.
However I am merely theorizing so don’t take my word on this. Now in 1977 the 4-door sedan was very popular as a family car. In the photo advertisement (that has been removed) you can see the setting at a rodeo and the family getting their pictures taken. It says family, fun and cowboys all at once.
My brother in law hauls cars for a living and when we see him with his truck we can view some of these classic vehicles that he is hauling to customers that bought them from afar.

As long as folks love them they will continue to be sought after and my brother in law will probably keep his job as longs as he wants too.The Grabber is the name given this car in the mid 1970's. This is shown in the photo above and gives the vehicle a muscle car theme. As you can imagine these became very popular with the teenagers and young adults. Many parents were probably afraid to see their kids driving one of these because the temptation to go faster than what is safe would be constant.
However you can see that this hot rod has a lot of appeal and would impress the girls and guys alike. Races would probably be done and the dangerous game of chicken might be tried. Hopefully the expense of the vehicle would reduce the chance that anyone would indulge the terrible risk of crashing.
