The Porsche 944 is a high performance sports car made by the Porsche German Auto Company. It was produced from 1982 through 1991. The Porsche 944 was very popular and sold well so the Porsche Company made several types of the 944 including the 944S, 944Turbo, 944S2 and the 944 Turbo S.
The Porsche 944 had a 2.5 L straight 4 engine design, which was similar to the early Porsche 928. Unfortunately parts were not interchangeable making it so different that early models could not be used for parts.

The 944 had different and updated bodywork including flared fenders and rear spoilers. The interior was similar to the older Porsche model. The only difference being new climate control switches.
1985 saw the Porsche 944's first big change. The changes included improving the interior with updated air conditioning and new dash and door panels. The radio antenna was removed from the hood and put into the windshield.
Other changes were made to the Porsche 944 like changing the oil capacity, giving it a larger fuel tank, heated seat options, new fancy phone dial wheels and more.
