When we lose a loved one we naturally long to be with them again and talk to them. Also it has become really
popular to hunt ghosts in old or haunted buildings. Why would the Bible give us so many warnings against talking to a ghost or to the dead? The reason is that these "ghosts" or the "dead" are really evil angels that got kicked out of heaven.
It all started long ago when Lucifer the head of all the angels rebelled in Heaven. One third of the angels joined him in the rebellion and there was a battle in which all of them were kicked out. Lucifer now called Satan came to earth and tricked Adam and Eve into joining him. The first lie on earth was spoken to Eve telling her that she would not die
Now the great controversy is raging here on earth as people decide whom they want to follow.
The reason why the Bible forbids talking to the dead is that satans angels will impersonate the dead tricking anyone who listens to them. Another reason is that the dead are totally unconscious and can't talk to us. The Bible calls it a sleep. Check out these verses.
